   “Subjection” is another misunderstood concept. Our present society defines it as slavery, cowering to cruel masters. This is not the biblical concept at all. Abuse has clouded our understanding of this word as it has headship.  Note that the word “being subject, submitting” occurs in Ephesians 5:21.  How husbands and wives fulfill verse 21 is found in the following verses
